Tour Directors
You are on vacation, so leave everything to our professionals. Our
guides take care of you from start to finish of the trip. They will
ensure that your luggage, room keys and dining experiences are all well
taken care of. Our tour directors are our hallmark. They are

Gold Leaf Service
What a gorgeous way to sightsee. Most trains feature picture windows, a
non-smoking environment and air conditioning for your optimum comfort.
So relax, breathe in the fresh air and bring your camera along to
photograph some of the ever changing scenery. Please note that
conditions on excursion trains vary.
Deluxe Motorcoaches
Our motorcoaches are luxurious with large non-glare windows, which
brings the scenery up close to you. Air conditioning provides optimum
comfort, and washrooms are convenient. To guarantee your safety, we
choose only drivers with years of experience and excellent safety
records.
Comfortable high quality Accommodations
Your comfort is our paramount concern, so we have selected the best
hotels available. We are in constant search of first class service and
reliability. Each accommodation has a special flavor; from a classic
New England inn, to comfortable new high-rise hotels. The vast majority
of hotels are able to provide twin bedded rooms. During the height of
the season, occasionally twin bedded rooms are not available, in which
case we would provide a Queen or King bedded accommodation. Roll away
beds are available only upon request, but are not guaranteed.
Dining Experiences
Excellent dining throughout. We often feature elaborate buffets at both
breakfast and dinner, a la carte dining with a selection of entrees and
of course local favorites.
Airport Transfers
Since tour members frequently arrive at different times and sometimes
on different days, we do not arrange for transfers from the airport.
Please refer to the information regarding airport transfers from
airport to your hotel in your final tour documents. Taxi, limo or
motorcoach transfers to our hotel are available at a nominal cost.

Deposit Requirements
A $500 deposit per person is required to secure your reservation.
Payment must be received within 14 days from date of booking.
Reservations are not firm until payment is received. Full payment is
required for reservations booked less than 60 days prior to departure.
Final Payment
We must receive final payment 90 days prior to departure. If initial
deposit or full payment is not received in time, space may be released
and re-booking will be subject to availability. Cancellation penalties
may be assessed.
Forms of Payment
Check, Cashiers Check or Agency Check should be made out to Great Train
Escapes, Inc. All prices are quoted and payable in US dollars.
Advertised prices include a 4 percent cash discount. If payment is not
made by check, please add 4 percent to the final balance.
Cancellation Charges

| 90-60 Days | 25% of total fare |
| 59-40 Days | 50% of total fare |
| 39-20 Days | 75% of total fare |
| 19-0 Days | 100% of total fare |
Revisions
A handling fee of $25 will be charged for any alteration or revision to
a reservation after deposit is received. A change of departure date
will constitute a cancellation and new booking if made within 90 days
of departure. Regular cancellation fees apply.
Insurance
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE (trip cancellation,
medical and baggage insurance) before your departure to provide for any
unforeseen circumstances. Consult your Reservation Specialist for
details.
Refunds
We cannot refund unused tours, transfers or individual features
voluntarily cancelled or omitted by the passenger. All other refunds
will be made for the value of unused features less any cancellation
fees.
Prices Include
All transportation, meals and hotel accommodations indicated in the
itinerary only. Gratuities for included meals. Transfer of passengers
and one piece of baggage (excluding carry-on) throughout tour. Price
does not include airfare to/from your home city, transfers and
porterage, airport taxes and fees. Gratuities for guide/driver, hotel
staff or train personnel. Meals not on itinerary.
Tour Participation
We reserve the right to reject any person as a tour participant and to
expel anyone whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the
group at the sole discretion of Great Train Escapes.
Travelers Needing Special Assistance
Any disability needing special assistance should be reported at time of
initial reservation. We will make reasonable attempts to accommodate
but are not responsible for denial of services from hotels, carriers,
restaurants and suppliers. We regret that we cannot provide individual
assistance for walking, dining, etc. Such travelers should be
accompanied by a qualified companion.
Documentation
Documents including vouchers for pre-paid services, air tickets (if
applicable), detailed itinerary, and hotel lists and baggage tags will
be mailed out 3 weeks prior to departure. Please note that final
payment may delay your receipt of documents. There will be a $35 fee
for replacing lost or stolen documents.
Smoking
There is no smoking allowed inside the train or motorcoach.
Responsibility
The tour outline herein will be carried out under the management of
Great Train Escapes, Inc. The company acts only as agent for hotels,
carriers, independent contractors or suppliers providing services to
passengers. Great Train Escapes, Inc. does not assume any
responsibility nor shall it be liable for any loss, cancellation,
costs, delays, irregularity, accident, injury or damage to person or
property damage, loss or theft of baggage and personal effects arising
from or in connection with such services.
The right is reserved by Great Train Escapes, Inc. (The Company) to
cancel or alter any itinerary, tour, accommodation as conditions
require. In the event The company is unable to provide the confirmed
accommodation for any reason, it will endeavor to arrange substitute
accommodations and any difference will be adjusted accordingly. If
substitute accommodations are unavailable, the amount paid for
accommodations will be refunded. The Company reserves the right to
withdraw the tour for any reason before the departure date, in which
case the amount paid will be refunded. Rates quoted are based on

Extra Cost Provision
As on any trip, inclement weather and other conditions beyond our
control may prevent or delay departure of a scheduled airline, ship,
train or motorcoach. If, as a result, you must book an extra hotel
night, all costs are solely your responsibility.
